This is my third Capresso Automatic Coffee Center that I have used both in my office and home. This is absolutely the most user friendly. I have been buying these for office use and then switching to newer models and taking the older one home. That way I get the most up to date technology and friends and relatives are always happy to get a good deal on a used machine. The Z Jura Capresso  jura coffee machines are so easy to operate that everyone in our office loves it and it is the preferred method of brewing coffee or heating water for soup mixes, tea, cocoa, etc.
Coolest styling makes this a HOT countertop appliance and it is appreciated by staff and visitors alike.
It is full of electronics to customize how each person drinks their beverage, and what time the machine turns on or off.
We love it!

Having had an amazing cup of coffee at a neighbors house (made by a Z5), I was sold. Two weeks later, our Starbucks solution had arrived. As mentioned by other reviewers, the coffee, lattes, caps, etc... were excellent and the machine performed as advertised. In fact, we had regular visits by our neighbors, just for the coffee.
But please be warned that these  jura coffee machines do not last and will require major repairs after the warranty has lapsed. Both my machine and that of my neighbors have stopped working, displaying "error 8" and refusing to do anything other than take up space on the kitchen counter. I realize that things aren't made like they used to be, but for $3,000+ I expect a heck of a lot more than one year's worth of light use. While lacking some of the features of the Z5, there are plenty of "super automatics" that are far more reliable and much cheaper. Don't bother with this machine.

Saw a demo of this at a local Sur la Table and very impressed. The coffee it makes is outstanding. I plan to buy one later this year.

Amazon is being deceptive about price for these  jura coffee machines. They state list price is $2400, and they're selling it for $1798.95, at a savings of $601.05. NOT! Look at the Jura-Capresso website. The list for the Impressa F9 is $1799. That brings Amazon's big discount down to a whole $0.05. The higher end Impressa S9 is $2399 (and Amazon claims it is $3200). Do your research. Don't trust Amazon's claims for MSRP.

Capresso appears to have only one Repair Center in all the U.S. (in Pennsylvania), and any repair requires shipping the unit at your expense ($150) and a few weeks waiting for it to be serviced.

Mine broke down several times. Twice from compacted coffee grounds in the grinder, and the last time from a dead water pump -- all within weeks of warranty expiration.

You can get as good or better a cup of coffee from a Senseo. I fell for the hype and the promise of quality from a high price tag, and now I have a very expensive door stop.

I've had several  jura coffee machines at this point (S5, J5 ...). I can't say enough how disappointed I am with the Jura's. Given that they are extremely expensive you would assume they would last and work without problems for quite some time. That's not necessarily true in my case. I had the S5 for 1 year with intermittant problems. By the way, I regularly clean the machine, use the cleaning tables and decalc tablets, use only bottled water, buy only Starbucks coffee ... basically I baby the machines. After about a year the machine started to not produce coffee consistently. It would only drip a little and I'd have to relieve the pressure valve essentially thus wasting water and coffee. To get a decent cup of coffee I would have to run through the coffee cycle 3-5 times!!!! I then decided, enough was enough and returned the machine. I then picked up a J5 and after one month I had exactly the same problem. I ran through the cleaning cycle twice even though it wasn't required and no change at all. It would just produce a couple of drops of coffee. Then I called, customer service. First time, I was on hold for 30 minutes with seven callers ahead so I gave up. The second time there were only 3 callers ahead but again I gave up after waiting for 25 minutes. Third time I finally just left a message. Two days later they finally called but obviously I wasn't waiting by the coffee machine anymore ... Needless to say, I'm returning this piece of junk also. I think I'm going to switch back to the non-automatic machines. I think they are less prone to falling apart.

What a beautiful machine. We were very excited to taste the first freshly brewed cup of coffee, on demand, but it never dispensed. The brewing process came to an abrupt halt and the display said "Empty Tray." Alas, the tray was already empty. Despite repeated attempts to brew another cup, it kept freezing at the same point with the same "Empty Tray" message. We called the manufacturer. They were were very kind and responsive, but told us to return the machine as it was defective. We are exchanging it for a new one with the hopes that this one will work. Hopefully, a better review will follow.
