Colombian Surpremo Coffee Beans Reviews
While
there are many versions of the origin of coffee in Colombia, it is generally
believed that Jesuit Missionaries brought Arabica coffee trees to the Orinoco
region of Colombia in the early 1800's. Today, while the cultivation of coffee
in Colombia is widespread, the typical Colombian coffee plantation is less than
8 acres and is family owned and operated.
The finest of the Columbian coffees is the Supremo and most of it comes from
the Hulla region. This coffee is medium
strength and sweet tasting with a superlative flavor and delightful aroma. The
name Supremo comes from the size of the bean. Supremo beans are slightly larger
than the decreasingly small Excelso, Extra, and Pasilla beans.
Personally, I prefer to pay a few extra dollars per pound for a good Colombian
Supremo gourmet coffee because it is clearly better than the granulated brown
stuff that comes in cans from the grocery store.
The fact that both the gourmet coffee and the inferior canned
coffee are both technically "100% Colombian" says that the marketing line –
"100% Colombian means fine coffee" – is not necessarily a gourmet-quality to
gourmet-quality comparison.
Colombian Surpremo coffee is so good because the National Federation of Coffee
Growers of Colombia sends an appointed official to inspect each farm for
sanitary conditions, healthy trees and the quality of each harvest.
The inspector checks to see if the coffee beans have been washed
and dried properly. He looks for adequate bean size, color texture and overall
quality, only the largest beans can be call Supremo coffee. Were we only buy the
best of the coffee beans.
Colombian coffee has large beans, consistently good taste,
medium body, full aroma, and medium acidity. A good 'daily' coffee, it
harmonizes well in blends. Our coffee beans are slow roasted and each bag is
dated (roast on dating) to guarantee freshness.

Choose Always Premium Quality - Never Less
To savor the rich aroma and full gourmet taste
of Colombian Surpremo Coffee, it is suggested
that you purchase your coffee from a reputable
distributor.
Of course, I also recommend you purchase only
the premium gourmet quality Brazilian Santos Coffee
beans – not the lower grades used for commercial
blending.
Also, I encourage you to try the Colombian Surpremo Coffee
from the CoffeeSnoop Link Sponsors.
They sell premium gourmet quality Colombian Surpremo Coffee at very competitive prices.
What I need now is another cup of coffee!
