The Braun stainless steel thermal carafes are at the top of the list of the many types of carafes available from Braun. They have a nifty lid locking system that keeps the coffee hot inside for about 4 hours without burning it.

A simple push of a button on the lid and the pour spout is unlocked, and another coffee cup may be filled for you.

Once you pored your cup just release the button, the seal goes back in place again and will keep the coffee hot until your next cup. A clear marking on each carafe for 10 or 12 cups of coffee reminds you when it is time to make a fresh pot.

All of the Braun glass carafes are easy to clean up and are dishwasher safe.

It is a good idea to have a replacement carafe on hand - your coffee making need not stop while one of them is in the dishwasher cycle.
